THE WEEKEND:May 3-4
Double check the details. Mercury squares grumpy Saturn at 2:50 PM Saturday afternoon suggesting communication problems, cynical attitudes or negative thinking Saturday morning. This is good energy to clean out the garage or to organize your tool shed or checkbook, but hold off on major purchases and decisions until this marker passes. Save important calls, too, for the hours that follow as the smoke and confusion of the square will drift away quickly and green lights will come back on for work or play in the next half hour. Note: the Moon does square overoptimistic Jupiter at 6:39 PM—don’t super- size it then and you’ll enjoy the evening as the Moon sextiles artistic and creative Neptune at 9:33 PM. Stay up late and meet a hostile or low-energy Moon Mars square at 2:16 AM tomorrow morning. You’ll be tired, others will be cranky.
Sunday’s Skywatch is lovely. The Moon enters Taurus at 6:58 AM and lines up in a trine to Pluto and Saturn creating another Earth Grand Trine Sunday morning. The good vibes continue as the Moon will then meet loving Venus in the heavens at 3:21 PM. This conjunction only happens once a month and is excellent astrology for a wedding day and all social and artistic events—ruled by Venus. Or to take the kids to the zoo or a museum—they will be more open to the experience and show you better behavior. Clear astrological skies continue throughout Sunday night—reach out. As times change.
Lance,
What is the best aspect to have in a day's skywatch to buy/play the lottery? I usually play during a Venus trine Jupiter aspect but it's not been lucky. Any in particular for Libra sun?
Thanks.
— Kate May 2, 10:49 PM #since Libra is ruled by Venus, the lesser benefit – good aspects to her are helpful.
And good aspects to Jupiter, the greater benefit, are also better than most for gambling.
you have the right idea…buying a ticket on good Skywatch. And sometimes a Mercury trine Saturn can point towards a winning ticket.
knowing your own personal astrology is much more helpful for gambling. And then using the SW times doubles your chances.
— Lance May 3, 08:36 AM #sad to say….a quack in the Skywatch today…
Mercury square Saturn played out in the Derby…
broken ankles…
I've heard they run horses too young…
sad ending today for one of the horses…
— Lance May 3, 08:58 PM #sad ending, indeed.
horses are noble creatures. whenever i'm down or stressed out, all it takes is 10 minutes leaning on the fence and hanging out with the morgans at the ranch where a friend of mine friend stays, and i've got a smile on my face….
i never knew how many were around where I grew up in jersey, but there was a small farm at the end of my road that bred and trained trotters, and they're all over the place, even today. i just got back from there a few days ago, and was stunned at how many i saw on my little loop tour of southern monmouth and northern ocean county—through what was once, but is no longer, home.
i guess my next journey is to find out where home is going to be from here on out. hopefully a place with horses around….
