Get an early start. The Moon meets sweet Venus in the heavens at 8:50 AM encouraging sleepy smiles and a liberal use of maple syrup at the breakfast table this morning. Afternoon hours are especially good for dealing with cars, computers, changes and strangers as the Moon trines friendly Uranus at 3:13 PM. Caution lights come on a minute later as the Moon turns Void of Course until tomorrow morning. Pull back and stick to routine when the Moon is V/C. Let times change.
If only…..Out of curiousity, I started correlating local lotto wins with the moon phase, and after a years worth of informal research, I have noted that many of the prize numbers get matched during a waxing moon. An 80K lotto was awarded last night on the new waxing moon. This of course does me no good because I didn't win. But I am curious about this, having noted how much the tides, my garden work, and wild life are effected by the very ‘local' pulls of the moon – local as opposed to other planetary actions.

there are probably many more correspondences to the lunar cycle…

Not so much, but do ‘contribute' a dollar when the numbers on a multi-state, or very local state lotto go above a certain number. That is how I started noticing the correlation of the moon phase and wins, since the moon phases are part of my daily life. In honesty this observation saves money cause I never waste a dollar during a waning moon, because wins are so rare during this part of the cycle. I've enjoyed ‘educating' people who do not believe in this ‘foolishness' by using the lottery wins as an educational tool. Now if I could only predict the actual numbers!! Then Lance, you and Mac would be mortgage free!
— Patty Jul 3, 09:53 PM #Ironically, I had car stuff to deal with Thursday, but in the morning. It tossed a timing belt Wednesday night on my way down to Tucson. As a result, I had to call a tow truck to take my car to a local repair shop and stay at a tiny motel in a town so small that they don't even have taxis! While I was waiting at the repair shop, they had a computer guy fixing their computer….
Anyhoo, all is well—the valves and the pistons didn't have an ugly rendezvous, so all they had to do was put a new timing belt on. :^)
