A hint for astrology buffs: if you know your recipient's Moon and/or rising sign, you may use those. Those born at night often resonate more to their Moon sign than their Sun sign.
How do I find out someone's Moon sign?
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Hats, sports gear, fast things. Metal objects and tools from power drills to fine silverware. Cinnamon, spicy salsa, a pepper plant, peppermint tea, candles and fireplace or bar-b-q items. Aries gemstone is diamond, and metal is iron. Aries colors are fiery red, gold, and deep blue. For children, things that go zoom and pop or a set of drums, toys or games with movement and action.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
