Don’t bet the farm.
I’ve worked with gamblers for some time observing this odd window of time that started on May 26 and will finally end on June 19. It is inconsistent in application as not every contest will be won by the underdogs, BUT there will be many more upsets and unusually good performances from substitutes, unknowns, or rookie players/horses.
Don’t bet the farm on favorites while Mercury is Retrograde.Tiger Woods will be at the U.S. Open during this Rx period. Will he prevail after knee surgery? I wouldn’t bet on him.
The French Open continues and already is dominated by unknowns, as the favorites have lost – Venus and Serena both lost on the same day!
Lakers and Celtics play this week, too. The bookies will make a bundle on this series is my guess. Point spreads will often not be covered when Mercury is Rx. The Celtics should be the favorite – let’s see what happens.
Baseball trends often are temporary during these Rx cycles. Teams get cold or hot for three weeks and then “revert” back to the kind of play they had before the Rx cycle.
Football, too. As the next Mercury Rx is Sept 24-Oct 16, you’ll see the same thing happen in college and the NFL during this three week period.
If you are a casino player, this is the time to play machines or games you don’t usually play. It wouldn’t surprise me that one of the games you did poorly on in the past provides you with winnings during Mercury Rx.
All bets are off on June 19 as Mercury returns to direct motion at 9:31 am CDT.
