Mercury is the messenger planet who rules all forms of communication and the machines we use to travel and communicate with—all more subject to malfunction/breakdown when he appears to be backing up in the heavens.
Mercury also rules the winds, which is why weather extremes are common during the Rx cycle. Misunderstandings, errors, confusion and detours are also more likely as the Rx cycle clouds our thinking and judgment of new people and situations.
Pets and all small critters are also ruled by Mercury and they may need extra attention during the Rx cycle as small problems can get out of hand, or they may have some strange behaviors that change and disappear once Mercury resumes direct motion.
BENEFITS: Review, reorganize, rework your most recent plans and concepts. You will discover better ways to organize and develop your ideas during the Rx cycle. Use this time to plan things that will begin after the Rx period ends.
Talk less; listen more. There’s a tendency for people to expose their real, and previously hidden, position or thinking inadvertently during the Rx cycle. People and situations from the past often reappear, too, and to your benefit, at this time.
In sales, you will be rewarded more by returning to old clients and prospects for business—save canvassing for new clients until Mercury resumes direct motion.
So here’s a question…I just realized that Mercury turned retro on my birthday (turned 40 on May 7th, ay yi yi!).
Is this significant (worth exploring further) or just an interesting coincidence?

maybe double check the details in the year ahead…that’s good advice even if you don’t have Merc Retro…

this is a whole new astrological ball game…
about the only key I can give you is that the Skywatch gets worse at years end…and we’ll have more squares in 2010.
