MAKING PLANS FOR 2008?
14 December 07Planning a wedding? Vacation? Purchase of a home or car? Get informed first so you can avoid Mercury Retrogrades and take advantage of the best days ahead for work or play – to travel, hold important meetings, see the doctor, your mechanic or the vet. It’s a $25 investment in your future.
Even more valuable, you will save yourself a great deal of consternation by knowing the Skywatch and that some days are better than others – and it’s not you. For example, Mars squares Uranus in the Skywatch (exact around midnight on Dec 11, 2008.) The worst day of the year to take the kids to the zoo, or have a root canal. The dates and details around ALL of these major stress days for the entire year are laid out for you month by month in the Datebook.
A Primer is also included which explains the terms used in astrology and Skywatch. This helps beginning readers tune into the cycles in the heavens, including Moon V/C (Void of Course) , and to the aspects made by the planets. Here’s where you’ll read and learn about trines and Retrogrades.
Help others. How many times do you get jokes, vulgar stuff and worthless e-mails from friends in your mailbox? Send them something back that is useful, positive and will help them – a copy of your Datebook. You are deputized to give this information away to your club, group, friends and loved ones. Your $25 purchase buys the badge.
The December report below is from the 2007 Datebook and is exactly the range and style of information that you will see presented in the 2008 edition. Order your copy here, or send a check, and we’ll quickly email you the pdf version that prints out beautifully, so you can make as many copies as you please – and for your neighbors, of course.
As we say in Texas “Don’t dawdle”. You already know you have to make certain appointments in the days ahead. Get the list of winners and losers for all of 2008 now. Read about what’s ahead over the next 12 months, and then make your plans.
Peace and love,

FROM THE 2007 DATEBOOK – DECEMBER
An unusual turn of events. Mars remains in Retrograde all of this month. So, we are all running on six cylinders instead of eight now, with low energy levels. However, lucky Jupiter meets healing Pluto in Sagittarius in the heavens on Dec 11. This is a powerful blend of energies in the Skywatch that happens just once every 12+ years. The upside of this conjunction is enormous – this is a time of great healing and abundance – the time to publish books or start a new business or travel to the ends of the Earth – although it might be better to wait until Mars goes direct. The destructive side of this marker will bankrupt corporations and countries – and likely produce a very expensive divorce story in the Hollywood papers.
There is always a duality in all astrological events. And free will – you can go your own way. The potential for great breakthroughs and benefits is strong in this pairing. This can be a payoff time for the work you have done over the last 12 years. For some it will be college, and for some it will be jail. Extremes = Pluto. Mars Rx adds a strange twist to events this month – you may need to let a little more time pass to take advantage of the situations that appear – Mars can delay things, but he doesn’t deny.
Winter weather is targeted to be on time as the ruler of the winds, Mercury, enters Capricorn, first sign of Winter, on Dec 20 – right on schedule this year.
Jupiter will enter earth sign Capricorn on Dec 18 and stay for a year. This is a window of time which favors putting energy into long-range goals and projects – this will be a year for all of us to build something. In fact, Jupiter and Saturn will both be in earth signs in 2008. The mantra of earth signs is: Show me the money. Financial concerns are moving way up on the priority list for everyone in 2008. Way up.
Knowing this earthy turn in the astrological cycles now should prompt you to be very cautious with your finances in 2007. Good financial habits and strategies will get a boost from Jupiter and Saturn in earth signs during 2008. Poor planning, heavy debts and financial obligations will hogtie some folks during this Virgo/Capricorn era so that they will not be able to take advantage of opportunities ahead – and they will risk losing it all.
KISS DAYS: 3, 4, 11, 19, 20, 25, 29. The day of Grace is Dec 11 when Jupiter meets Pluto, Venus trines Mars and the Sun sextiles Neptune in the heavens – all together on one day! Even with Mars Retrograde, this is a stellar day to handle top priority plans and business, and to ask for what you want. This is a good day to be playing the slots in Vegas. And to gamble on yourself.
QUACK DAYS: 6, 7, 10, 17, 22, 23. Slow down on these days and keep it simple. A Full Moon conjuncts Retrograde Mars and opposes Jupiter and Pluto on Dec 22/23. This is a dangerous combination especially given the times we live in. Positive work can be done at this time, too, as the Sun meets lucky Jupiter on the 22nd. Best if you don’t push the envelope or try to cram too much into your schedule as storms, traffic mix-ups and communications problems are bound to complicate matters during this weekend.
can you tell me when I need to renew?

— Leslie McLaurin Jan 8, 06:43 AM #nini….
main thing about buying a car is to avoid Mercury Retrograde periods…
and pick a kiss day when the Skywatch is calm and good – not on a Moon V/C day, either.
and you will be much more likely to make a good transaction and like what you buy…
which is not always the case during Merc Rx and Moon V/C.
