3 May 08Jupiter has just stopped exactly on a trine to Obama’s Mars suggesting a high point in his energy cycle and popularity. Jupiter now Retrogrades for four months, and importantly, he will not come back to this power point until after the November elections.
Hillary has Jupiter now in a positive sextile to her Mercury = her message is getting out. As Jupiter Retrogrades he will back up and sextile her Venus which gives her a bit of a lift in the months ahead. Especially financially. Venus rules love and money. Jupiter will not return to her Mercury in time for the election.
McCain has lucky Jupiter sitting exactly on the trine to his Venus giving his great public appeal. (How strange that Obama’s Mars is the same degree, 22 Virgo, as McCain’s Venus). However, as Jupiter Retrogrades he will trine religious Neptune which is likely to be support from the conservative church gang, dontcha think? But again, Jupiter will not return to the powerful trine to Venus.
That means Hillary and McCain have staying power as another planet will be linked in a positive way to Jupiter as he Retrogrades, while Obama has seen the crest of his power as far as Jupiter is concerned as Jupiter backs up into a void in his chart.
There’s always more to consider in each case. Political charts are the hardest to read as they spin and spin. Let’s check back in with these charts in another month and see if other planets take over the lead role.
SPORTS. Tiger Woods has Saturn (knee) exactly inconjunct Pluto (surgery) in his astrological birth chart. This is a minor aspect, but big planets are involved which creates stress in his job and health – can’t play golf with a bad knee. There is another major aspect moving into his chart as Uranus in Pisces lines up in a square to his Moon in Sagittarius. This marker will be exact in mid June and suggests a time of emotional stress that will likely keep him from being the dominating force in golf this year. I have seen Tiger overcome difficult astrological moments, but this is one that will alter his internal balance and will keep the putts from dropping.
