November Letter from Lance
13 November 08Something very different is in the air now and it’s attached to fear and worry (ragweed, too). That’s Saturn. Uranus brings changes. Our mission is to use the energy and new stuff without letting fear run the ship. Wonderful things are possible now if we join the best energies of these big boys. The proof of that is Obama. The last good cluck I had with my mother on politics started off with me bitching about the state of Democratic party not having anybody to run for President. She said, Lance, somehow the Democrats will come up with someone new and strong, and he will win. I didn’t buy it.
But she was right three years later when the votes were counted and a tremendous surge of new energy carried Obama to the White House. God bless him. He’s a Leo with a Moon in Gemini and Aquarius Ascendant. That makes him smart with 2 air signs, and a born leader – Leo. He has Mars in Virgo and is discriminating, an efficiency expert and practical. His Venus is in Cancer – he wants to nurture and mother this Cancer ruled country. His Ascendant is exactly conjunct the Moon in Aquarius in America’s chart = he understands what the public needs and feels. Even better, lucky Jupiter will enter Aquarius in the heavens on Jan 5, 2009 and give him and us an extra boost for the rest of the year. This is a very good astrological sign for the beginning of his new term of office, and for all of us to put a new plan or idea into motion.Time has completely blown by me. The speed of things increases. Or, maybe at 60, I’m slowing down considerably. It’s some of both, I am certain. We’ve been warm and dry, 86 yesterday. A cold front is due in this weekend with lows around 40. That means I’ll have to get some britches out, as they say in south Texas – been wearing shorts only since last March, but that’s typical Island living. There’s only about 20 days in the Winter when you need long pants on the south Texas coast. Although there is a hard core element in the Post Office here that never wear long pants, shorts only. Stud muffins they are.
The Skywatch is excellent in this second half of November. This is a very good time to make things in your life more secure as Jupiter trines dependable Saturn on the 21st. Note who calls you over the next two weeks, too. I got a call yesterday that could be the best contact I have ever made in astrological publishing – this can happen to you this month. Yes, yes, yes. Stick to your guns this month, and keep the faith.
Obama made it happen. So can you.
