The February Outlook from the Datebook

3 February 09

Saturn is the status quo. Uranus is the agent of change and reformation. The challenge is one of holding on to something stable and predictable (Saturn) while still inviting freedom and change to enter our lives (Uranus). Reactions will vary. Some folks will bear down and reframe/reinvent a part of their life with great success. Others will lose their grip, ignore their responsibilities, and open the door to unexpected problems and big time trouble.

Uranus incites the rebellious side to our nature and that will show up in the headlines as terrorist actions increase – worldwide. This is a hard aspect for teenagers, the young and restless to deal with – suspect there will be more visitors than usual to the principal’s office as the temptation to cut classes will increase with the rebel yell of Uranus echoing through the school hallways.

Virgo and Pisces rule our health, physical and emotional. This is where the stress of daily events is most likely to appear in our lives this year. Time to change your diet for the better and to stock up on vitamins and products that support your good health in 2009 – is it time to join the gym?

Even small changes will be most helpful if you will be consistent. Virgo rules the lower back and I suspect complaints to the doctors about pain in that region will increase. Pisces rules your feet. Get some new shoes that are super comfortable this month and see if you don’t get an energy boost.

Much better days will show up as we get deeper and deeper into the month. Save your priority appointments, meetings, travel and business for the last two weeks and you are more likely to find success and solutions to your needs/wishes.

Kiss Days: 13, 17++, 22+, 24, 25, 27+.

Note the double + on the 17th. That’s when Mars meets lucky Jupiter in the heavens, this is a fabulous day to start something new in your life, to the take the kids to the zoo, or have cosmetic surgery. Yes, buy a lotto ticket then, too, or enter a drawing or contest. Jupiter blesses your actions.

Quack Days: 2, 5+, 9, 18. Only the 5th is venomous. The other days are just hazy, crazy.

  1. Aww man. The venomous 5th is my birthday! What a solar return – should make for an interesting year…

  3. it’s not always the same thing, Regina…

    your SR has great aspects…

    Merc trine Saturn
    Merc sextile Uranus
    Mars sextile Pluto
    Mars conjunct Jupiter.

so, yes, a Venus Pluto square, but in the context of all the kisses…it’s actually going to be a very good year for you…

  4. Ok, the day is off to a bad start (5th) when I wake up with a migraine. It is barely under control, but I’m going to work anyway. We have been having all kinds of problems with computers, databases, etc. for weeks (FYI, we are talking some of the state’s databases too.) If today is the worst…yikes!

  5. Thanks for the reassurance, Lance! I am excited about this year, actually!

    — Regina    Feb 5, 11:29 AM    #
  6. Well, yesterday was indeed “venonmous”! Everyone at work was on edge, angry, upset, you name it. I also got some news that really set my teeth on edge. I am in a much better frame of mind today, but do not hope for a repeat of yesterday anytime soon.

  7. So I see my birthday Feb 18 is a quack day…will my year be good? Thanks for the insight Lance.

    — Maria M.    Feb 7, 07:02 PM    #
  8. nah…just Moon squares that day, which probably won’t be in your Solar Return…

    rock on, Maria…

the good stuff from the 17th will still be in your SR…very good.

  9. Did you mention anything about when “The Moon is in the 7th House and Jupiter aligns with Mars?” I thought the 14th was supposed to be the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. Isn’t that a big deal?

    — Margaret    Feb 15, 12:03 PM    #
  10. nobody knows when the age of Aquarius starts….

and this set-up: Jupiter aligning with Mars and the Moon in the 7th house has already happened three times in the last ten years…

for my bet, the age of Aquarius started with the advent of electricity and the computer…

  11. When does saturn move to libra?

    — JOYCE    Feb 17, 08:26 PM    #
  12. Oct 29…Saturn will get to 4 Libra and then back up into Virgo again in 2010.
