17 April 10A new, once-in-20-year event appears in the Skywatch on May 23 as Jupiter and Saturn form an exact opposition in the heavens. This tug of war will also be a part of the astrological weather throughout the entire month. Jupiter wants to expand. Saturn wants to conserve. Like the Saturn Neptune theme, this opposition rewards careful and measured expansion. Here is energy well-suited for establishing successful long-term goals and directions. And this is just the first pass as the exact opposition will appear two more times in the Skywatch in the months ahead. An even more significant change is Uranus entering the sign of Aries on May 27. For the last seven years, Uranus, the master of changes, has been sleeping/dreaming while traveling through mystical Pisces. Now, Uranus enters the sign ruled by Mars and we pick up the pace of change significantly. Uranus rules cars, computers and high tech. Aries is the pioneer who creates something brand new. Uranus likes to make changes; Aries is first in line to do anything. In Pisces, the Uranus energy was directed to internal channels and we have had a kind of emotional cleansing over the last seven years. Uranus sets loose a fanatical, blind zeal in Aries that can move mountains or create instant temper tantrums or revolutions. Breakthroughs and advances in medicine and science will be extraordinary during this new era. However, the level of senseless violence and destruction, unfortunately, will also increase worldwide. The last time Uranus entered Aries was April 1927. I’ll have more to say about Uranus in Aries and will post it on my site throughout 2010. MAY KISS DAYS: 7+, 12, 15, 17, 18+, 24, 30, 31. These are good days to get in touch with the people who can help you. Use the days of Grace + for top priority appointments or social plans. Both of these + days have sweet Venus in the headlines—good times to seek out new clients, business and romantic introductions—reach out. MAY QUACK DAYS: 2+, 19+, 22, 23+. These dates have complications that add an element of confusion or resistance to the day’s energy. Neptune is the problem planet on two of these days and that means you’ll have strange sleep and dreams at the same time. Best not to finalize purchases or decisions on these days as people, things and events may not be what they seem. I don’t know how I always manage to do this, but I do the opposite of what the skywatch suggests. Yesterday, the 19th, a quack plus day, with Mercury Retro, I bought a used car. Did I feel stressed out about anything. No. In fact, the whole day I felt almost elated that I have some wheels under me, since my Jeep was stolen last Monday. Can anyone explain why it is I have a good day, on a quack day? This happens almost every quack day. I wonder why that is? Maybe my birthchart could tell why.
