LOOKING AHEAD: AUGUST 2010

15 July 10

A week later Venus will replace Mars and create her own T-Square which will likely generate an extra expense around your home or office, or an argument over values and money. And let’s not even talk about the stock market.

Serious complications in the Skywatch show up as Saturn squares Pluto again in the third week of August. And caution lights stay on for the rest of the month because Mercury again turns Retrograde on Aug 20 to Sept 12. Delays, misunderstandings, powerful winds and weather are all more likely during Mercury Rx. Keep that in mind when you make plans for the Labor Day weekend—keep it simple, and keep an eye on the weather.

AUGUST KISS DAYS: 5, 13, 17, 25, 30. There are good aspects in some of the other days this month, but you need to pay attention to the times and read the daily reports to benefit as there are quacks scattered in among those days, too. The kiss days here are not brilliant, but the best of the month for chores, buying/selling and important appointments.

AUGUST QUACK DAYS: 1, 2, 3++, 6, 9, 12, 16+, 19, 20, 21. Mars makes two difficult connections to Jupiter and Pluto on Aug 3. This is the most difficult Skywatch day I’ve seen this year. Remember to double check the details once Mercury turns Rx and you’ll save some time and trouble. Jupiter exactly opposes Saturn on Aug 16—stress levels will be high and the day is not good for travel or making major decisions or purchases.  Lance

  4. Me with my temper, my age (57), and my inclination to be a real crab (if the crustacean shell fits…) when annoyed , should make for some mighty interesting times in August. And lets not forget the horrid driving habits of the locals in S.W. PA. All the above can mean only one thing..I’m going to have a wonderful time of it in August.
