DEC 4 - THE JANUARY 2010 SKYWATCH IS NOW AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS
1 November 09Mars Retrograde starts on Dec 20 and will continue to March 10, 2010. This is the most difficult Rx cycle as Mars rules our muscles, drive and ability to get up and go. He will back up from 19 to 00 Leo. We will be driving in reverse during this lowest part of the Martian cycle and have less physical energy than usual. Aries and Scorpio birth signs who have Mars as ruler or co-ruler will be the first to tell you: Slow down and conserve your energy when Mars is Rx. Hold off on initiating new plans and ideas—you’ll be walking in mud on some days. Another confusing Mercury Retrograde starts on Dec 26 and continues to Jan 15. Storms, complications, delays and travel difficulties will be much more likely over the holiday season as Mercury backs up from 21 to 5 Capricorn in the heavens. We’re bound to have early freezes and snowfalls this year as Mercury enters this Winter sign on Dec 5—three weeks ahead of schedule! A blizzard and cold weather up north on Christmas day is a good bet this year. Add it all up and this is an extremely bi-polar Skywatch in December. Saturn Pluto is cruel, realistic and made of concrete. Jupiter Neptune is Tinkerbell, marshmallows, scotch and soda. From Dec 1 to 20, none of the planets will be Retrograde—all the players will be in direct motion. This is quite rare, the only time this year, and suggests progress and rapidly developing events. Then Mars and Mercury will slam into the wall, Retro-grade, and begin to back up on the bases. And we will lose traction and clarity. December Kiss Days: 1+, 5, 6, 10+, 15+, 17, 26, 27. Double check the details on the last two days of this list as Mercury is Rx. But eve-rything else in the Skywatch that weekend is positive and invites you to explore or adventure. Use the days of Grace + for important purchases, business and matters close to your heart. December Quack Days: 3, 7, 19, 24, 25, 28, 31. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day both make this list as the Sun meets Pluto and squares Saturn on Dec 24/25. I suggest you simplify your holiday plans this year—everyone will be out of gas and likely out of character. Plan something close to home and safe for New Year’s Eve as a Full Moon in Cancer will be escorted by both loudmouth Mercury Retrograde and clumsy Retrograde Mars that night—a pair of jokers who could cause some problems or complications. Better to keep it simple that night and to walk softly into the new year—as times change. All of the above information in “Looking Ahead” comes from my 2009 Long-Range Datebook which was published in Dec 2008. I am preparing another Datebook for 2010 which will also give you the kiss and quack dates, and the same awareness of the changing conditions in the Skywatch for the new year that’s ahead. Stay tuned. Lance
Hi Lance, What do you predict for the year 2012, change or destruction? Thanks, Pam
— Pam Cobourn Nov 22, 01:54 PM #what astrology says about 2012…
is that the very same sky pattern appeared in the heavens 20,000 years ago…and we are still here.
moreover…if we take the age of the Earth to be 6 billion years or whatever…
the astrology that will be in the sky in 2012 will have already been in the heavens 10,000 times or some huge number.
so..I expect things to go on in the way they have since the Earth began…
this is another Y2K deal that makes people money…
complete bullshit.
— Lance Ferguson Nov 22, 04:23 PM #Thank you. I appreciate when some one uses their head for something besides growing hair. What you said is the first sensible thing I’ve read about 2012.
There has always been some one predicting an apocalypse. Notice if you will, how at no time do my hands ever leave my wrists, and none of those apocalyptic events ever took place.
