LOOKING AHEAD: NOVEMBER 2009
18 October 09This square will generate a time of stress, restriction and consolidation that appear in years of high destiny. Saturn Pluto was the force in the Skywatch when the Twin Towers fell in 2001. Nobody knows whether a similar event will happen this time. We do know that events that take place now and ahead – and how we handle them – will have far-reaching effects.
Saturn is a tester that challenges your goals, thinking and financial strength. Pluto is an extremist – you either pass the test and get stronger, or find out the door is locked and you must start over. This will be a time of high contrast in some area of your personal life calling for a reconciliation in the months ahead. One literal translation: Are your responsibilities killing you or helping you grow? The square will take many forms in our personal lives depending on how it fits into our personal birth charts. For some this will be a financial strain, while others will have health concerns, or problems on the job. Something extra will be on our plates while these two giant powers lock horns in the heavens, some extra responsibility Saturn rules the status quo, the government, big biz, the authorities. Pluto will destroy some piece/s of it and test our mettle. This challenging aspect suggests a time of consolidation – very likely we’ll see the loss/removal of major players in the finance and business world in the months ahead. This square will become exact on Nov 15 and then hang out through December and all of next January when they will again exactly square in the heavens. And we can expect that the tension between these two planets is likely to generate destructive responses from the terrorist camps. Plus, Libra and Capricorn are both Cardinal signs = the urge is to action. The Earth is bound to move, too. Capricorn rules the mountains. Pluto has the power to move them. The positive message that this square brings to all of us is: It’s time to deal with injustice and inequality and to forge cooperative relationships with every nation in a true global partnership – starting in our own house and neighborhood. That’s my first impression. There will be more to say and other astrologers will interpret these elements in the Skywatch with a different slant – we are all like art critics who have our own point of view. However, we will all agree that this is a major new condition in the heavens which tells us there will be a new issue/force to deal with here on Earth in the months ahead. Thanksgiving Day starts out with good vibes, high energy. Clouds roll in at sundown as Venus squares Neptune and Uncle Brewster is plastered. Don’t expect agreement or perfection that night – count your blessings, say little and call it early. November Kiss Days: 13, 17, 20, 21, 25, 28+, 29. Keep these dates in mind when you schedule appointments, travel and events that are complicated or first time in your life – you’ll have a better chance of realizing your goals and succeeding on these days. November Quack Days: 1+, 9, 10, 11, 15++, 19, 23, 30+. There’s more stress than usual on these dates + due to the Saturn Pluto square being in force all month long. Be cool and keep it simple on these days. Lance
thanks for the heads up… peace to all as times change
— charlotte Oct 19, 09:52 AM #okay, I have read this twice and on two different days……yikes! and yikes again! Lance, we need to have some foundation work done to the house, should we postpone until december? Thank you for your guidance as always!
— nicole Oct 26, 03:24 PM #xo
go ahead and do it…Saturn square Pluto is foundation work…
you pay the price but you get stability…

— Lance Ferguson Oct 26, 09:02 PM #a family member just launched a non-profit for purchasing & distributing holiday gifts. info, via email, sent out yesterday…any suggestions
— zora Oct 27, 09:21 AM #zora….
nope…the Skywatch is good for it…
all else depends on what is in their personal charts..
— Lance Ferguson Oct 27, 12:13 PM #Yikes! I am currently in career transition, but my job is not working out (difficult boss). I was thinking of leaving my job or at least reducing my hours significantly in order to focus on the educational hours I need to transition (versus the professional hours). I’m transitioning to accounting. Is it a bad time to make a move like this? I would do it in January.
— Maria Oct 27, 05:13 PM #can’t tell you, Maria…
altho…Mars will be Rx in Jan along with Merc…
so…now is better in the sense that you won’t have those Rx cycles to slow you down…
— Lance Ferguson Oct 28, 07:02 AM #question, lance: you have a + next to a few dates, what does it mean? (my bday is nov 1, so just wanted to check in!)
— susan Oct 29, 01:46 PM #Lance, I have a meeting with my boss Nov. 10th to discuss how we will go forward with the store I am managing for him. I would like to be very honest with him about my views, but being a quack day, is it best to reschedule?
— Maria M Oct 29, 02:57 PM #yes, I would reschedule if you can…
otherwise, don’t go overboard with the Sun and Jupiter in square that day…
— Lance Ferguson Oct 29, 04:25 PM #Hello!
— emmie Oct 30, 10:28 AM #I just want to add, Saturn going into Libra will be amazing!!! Saturn love being in Libra! Unlike the past 6 to 7 years where Saturn really wasn’t comfortable and produced it’s negative side! Good luck to all in the new cycle! I know I’m looking forward to it!
you have a point, emmie…
Saturn was in Leo and Virgo over the last 6 years…kinda stuffy…
Libra is his favorite sign as order loves balance…
this is when the dues you have paid can pay off…
I’m looking foward to this transit of Saturn, too.
